Over the last few years I've been running creative expression workshops with young people, using my book Cut Short as a stimulus

After Cut Short was published in July 2021 I was contacted by a charity called Nurture UK, who offered to help me to realise my vision of bringing it into classrooms as a learning resource.

They funded me, youth worker-rapper Franklyn Addo and Demetri Addison to design an educational programme that combines the book’s themes with subjects like philosophy and sociology to engage with groups of young people in London.

I called it PATTERN.
